Niagara IceDogs Seeking Billet Families

The Niagara IceDogs are looking for two families in the Governor Simcoe Secondary School area to billet players for the 2017-2018 hockey season!

Families can billet up to two players through the team’s final game of the season. Billets are called upon to provide more than just a bed to sleep in. Billet homes are a home-away-from-home, and play a key role in ensuring a player’s success both on and off the ice. It takes special people to open their homes and hearts to our players and we take the utmost care to ensure our players are placed in environments that are conducive to care, understanding and safety. The IceDogs’ organization works diligently to ensure our players are in a suitable housing environment.

Players are made well aware of the rules and are expected to abide by them. They are also aware that they are a role model for any children in the home and are expected to act accordingly.

If you are interested in billeting one of your Niagara IceDogs or know of someone that would be, please contact IceDogs billet coordinator Jill Saxton via email at jillsaxton@me.com or by phone at 289-687-9696 for more information.
