Ryan Mantha Named OHL Second Team All-Star

Niagara IceDogs defenceman and captain, Ryan Mantha, has been named to the OHL Second All-Star Team. This is his first All-Star team nod following his breakout year in 2016-17.

The right handed defenceman set career highs in goals (17), assists (41), and total points (58). Mantha appeared in 65 games this season, and put up four points in four playoff games this season. Mantha led a young IceDogs team and helped propel us into the post season with his stellar play for a tenth straight season.

Mantha recently signed an entry level deal with the Edmonton Oilers, and looks to crack the Oilers roster in training camp this upcoming summer.

Congratulation on this great accomplishment Ryan!
