Six IceDogs Prospects Invited to Participate in 2017 OHL Gold Cup!

Six Niagara IceDogs prospects from last weekends’ draft have been invited to participate in the upcoming 2017 OHL Gold Cup.

The OHL Gold Cup is an annual opportunity for the best under-16 hockey players from Ontario to showcase their talent. The showcase¬†is a part of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence, and acts as a showcase for players prior to the National Under-17 Selection Camp, where selected players will have a chance to compete with their peers to earn a spot on one of Canada’s rosters at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

The following IceDogs’ Prospects will be participating in the showcase, taking place in Kitchener from May 3rd-7th.

Philip Tomasino (1,5) – GTHL Blue
Billy Constantinou (2, 36) – GTHL Blue
Ian Martin (3, 51) – OMHA White
Christian Sbaraglia (6, 105) – GTHL Red
Ryan Campbell (6, 116) – ALLIANCE
Mason Howard (10, 185) – ALLIANCE
