First Place Battalions Defeat IceDogs

Today, the Niagara IceDogs were back on the road facing off against the top ranked team, the North Bay Battalions.

North Bay got off to a quick start getting 4 goals in the first period. Making it 4-0 after 20 minutes of play.

The Battalions were able to get two more in the second. Liam Van Loon tallied his first goal as an IceDog after being traded by the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The score was 6-1 after the second.

The Dogs managed to pick up some momentum in the third getting 2 goals. Isaac Enright got one, and rookie Ryan Struthers got his first OHL goal.

Ultimately, the Battalion took the W, 7-3.
