1) Tonight’s game marks the second between these two teams in less than 2 weeks. The IceDogs opened the 2018-19 season in Mississauga with an exciting 8-6 win.

2) In the 8-6 IceDogs win, LA Kings prospect Akil Thomas collected 5 points (1 goal and 4 assists).

3) Ivan Lodnia and Kirill Maksimov each picked up their first 2 goals of the season against Mississauga. Lodnia added his first assist as well.

4) Ben Jones (3G, 4A) – Kirill Maksimov (4G, 3A) are currently on a 5-game point streak.

5) ‘Dogs forward Bradey Johnson is currently tied to lead the league with 2 game-winning goals, having been scored in our 3-1 win over Kingston, and our 6-1 win over North Bay. He is tied with Mississauga’s James Hardie.

6) Kyen Sopa is ranked 2nd in the league for most scoring most first goals in games, with 2.

7) The IceDogs have the 1st ranked away powerplay, with 50% efficiency, and the 19th ranked away penalty kill, with a 62.5% efficiency rating.

8) The Steelheads’ home power play ranks 2nd with 44.4% efficiency, while their home penalty kill is ranked 15th with 77.8% efficiency.

9) Mississauga is led on the scoresheet by Cole Carter and Keean Washkurak (7 pts), and Owen Tippett and Michael Little (5 pts).

10) Steelheads’ Tippet has been suspended indefinitely dating back to Sept. 30th.
