1) The IceDogs face the Colts for the third time this season.Niagara enters this game with 1-1 record against the Colts, and having captured 5/6 points last weekend.

2) Recently acquired Jason Robertson and Jacob Paquette will be dressing tonight for their first games as Niagara IceDogs.

3) Robertson, and captain Ben Jones enter this game riding 8-game post streaks. Robertson has 18 points (9 goals and 9 assists) and Jones has 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists) in 8 games.

4) Robertson is one-goal behind Tye Felhaber, the leading goal scorer this season, with 23 thus far. 9 of his goals have been scored on the powerplay, to lead the league. He has 38 points on the season, ranking fifth in the league.

5) IceDogs forward Phil Tomasino enters this game riding a 5-game point streak, having collected 8 points in 5 games.

6) Starting goaltender, Stephen Dhillon, is expected to get the nod between the pipes tonight against Barrie. He ranks 8th amongst all goalies in the league with 10 games on the season, with a goals against average of 2.77, and save percentage of .917.

7) The IceDogs have the 12th ranked home powerplay, with 20.0% efficiency, and the 5th ranked home penalty kill, with an 84.9% efficiency rating.

8) The Colts’ away power play ranks 12th with 17.9% efficiency, while their away penalty kill is ranked 10th with 77.8% efficiency.

9) Barrie’s Ryan Suzuki ranks fifth in the league with 22 assists

10) The IceDogs’ powerplay will need to keep an eye on Barrie’s Matej Pekar, who is tied for the league lead with 4 shorthanded goals this season.
