1) Tonight marks the first game between these two teams this season, and the final game in this weeks’ 3 in 3.

2) Last season, the IceDogs and Spitfires split the season series with each team winning their home game, including a 3-2 ‘Dogs win in March.

3) Against the Spitfires in the 2017-18 season, Akil Thomas had 3 points (1G, 2A) .

4) Oliver Castleman ranks fifth in the league with 2 insurance goals on the season.

5) Kirill Maksimov is ranked fourth in the league with 11 goals, 6 of which coming on the powerplay, to lead the league.

6) Akil Thomas ranks fourth in the league with 14 assists, 6 of which have come on the powerplay, ranking fourth in the league.

7) The IceDogs have the 9th ranked home powerplay, with 20.8% efficiency, and the 11th ranked home penalty kill, with a 85.7% efficiency rating.

8) The Spitfies’ away power play ranks 11th with 15.4% efficiency, while their away penalty kill is ranked 12th with 81.2% efficiency.

9) Windsor’s rookie forward Jean-Luc Foudy leads the team with 9 points (1G, 8A), and Cole Purboo follows closely with 8 points (5G, 3A).

10) Spitfires’ goaltender Michael DiPietro leads the league with 1 shutout thus far in the season.

Tonight, we are hosting our first ever Superhero night as the Windsor Spitfires come to town. Catch Super Ben and the ‘Dogs at home for a 7:00pm puck drop. All game-worn specialty  jerseys will be auctioned live post-game in Section 105. All proceeds from the jersey auctions will be donated to Family and Child Services (FACS) Niagara, in support of the FACS Foundation.
