GAMEDAY PREVIEW: IceDogs set to face Colts on Remembrance Day

The IceDogs continue their 4-game roadtrip in Barrie, where they’ll take on the Colts, on Remembrance Day. The Colts currently sit in first place in the Central division, so the ‘Dogs will come into tonight’s game expecting to compete hard for the win. Tonight marks the first time these divisional rivals will face each other this season.

Stephen Dhillon will likely return between the pipes hoping to continue his strong play in net. Dhillon’s confidence and composure in the net have helped his team out at big moments in the game. The IceDogs’ special teams continue to rank in the top 10 in the league. Thus far in the season, the powerplay and penalty kill came alive to help the ‘Dogs continue to pressure, which is a positive sign heading into tonight’s game. Ben Jones is ranked 2nd in the league for powerplay goals, with 7 (two coming last night), while Akil Thomas ranks third in the league in powerplay assists with 10.

IceDogs’ Top 5 Point Leaders:
