IceDogs Announce Increased Roles for Nick Tamburri and Vince Tarantino

Niagara, Ont.- The Niagara IceDogs have announced increased roles for both Nick Tamburri and Vince Tarantino.

Nick has taken over as the team’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Vince has taken a role as Director of Player and Prospect Development and Evaluation. He will also remain the IceDogs’ Skills Coach and ETA Scout.

“Vince has earned this increase in role and responsibilities. He is a tireless worker who has an unbelievable pulse on not only minor hockey, but the OHL as well and knows what it takes so succeed at our level. Vince has been an incredible asset to us since joining and we are thrilled to be able to expand his role. I am confident we will become a better program because of it!”

Said General Manager, Joey Burke.

Head coach, Billy Burke, shares his enthusiasm on Tamburri,

“We are thrilled to have Nick back in an increased role as our Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Nick quickly earned the trust and respect of the players with his knowledge, passion and work ethic. Nick is a fun guy to be around and always has big energy and enthusiasm in the gym that the players feed off. Nick is a great contributor to our culture here and I’m excited to continue to work with him”.
