Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs were on the road, facing off against the Barrie Colts.
Barrie managed to get off to a quick start, scoring on both of their power plays and then one.
After 20 minutes, the score sat at 3-0 Barrie.
Brice Cooke was able to put the Dogs on the board, getting his 5th goal of the season in the second. However, the Colts got another on their third power play of the game, and another late in the period, opening their lead even further.
After 40 minutes, the score was 5-1 Barrie.
Captain Cam Butler got a goal early in the third on the IceDogs power play. However, Barrie was able to hold the Dogs off and secure the empty net goal in the end.
Ultimately, the Barrie Colts took the win 6-2. |
