IceDogs in the NHL Playoffs – Week 5 Recap

After week five, we are mid-way through the Conference Championship. Ryan Strome and the underdog New York Rangers continue to impress.
Ryan Strome – New York Rangers (17 GP – 2 G, 7 A, 9 PTS)
Last week, the Rangers took down the Carolina Hurricanes in an eventful game seven matchup. Ryan Strome scored in the second period to eventually lead the Rangers to a 6-2 victory and series win. The New York Rangers are currently leading the defending back-to-back Stanley Cup Champs 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Final. Strome has remained pointless through the first three games against Tampa but left the game yesterday with a lower-body injury after 7 minutes of ice time and did not return. The severity of his injury is unknown but we hope to see him back in action for game four tomorrow night.
