IceDogs Sign 4th Rounder Andrew Vermeulen

Niagara, ON – The Niagara IceDogs are proud to announce the signing of Andrew Vermeulen. Vermeulen was drafted in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection by Niagara in the fourth round, 71st overall.

Coming from Selkirk, ON, Vermeulen played the 2021-22 season with the Niagara North Stars U16 AAA team, putting up 32 points (14 G, 18A) in 22 games. He is a 6’1 forward, shoots left, and weighs in at 179lbs.

The IceDogs organization is very excited to have Andrew sign as part of the IceDogs team. Fans can look forward to getting their first glimpse of Vermeulen on the ice later this summer at training camp.
