IceDogs Sign Sami Douglas-Najem

Niagara, On | The Niagara IceDogs are pleased to announced that they have signed defenseman Sami Douglas-Najem.

The team picks up Douglas-Najem from The Quinte Red Devils AAA. A power defenseman standing at 6’2 and 205 lbs.

General Manager, Joey Burke shares his enthusiasm,”This is an exciting signing for us. Sami is a guy who was the biggest surprise of our camp and he has earned this opportunity. He was relentless all week and combined physicality, work ethic and instincts to really have a great showing. He’s a guy we have liked since his draft year and and I am confident he will fit in here down the line. Sami will spend the season developing in Trenton which is a great program and they will have him more than ready to join us full time in the future!”
