Niagara IceDogs Sign Boe Piroski

Niagara, ON | This morning, General Manager Joey Burke announced that the Niagara IceDogs have signed Goaltender Boe Piroski.
The 2004-born Amherstburg native stands at 6’2, 190 lbs. Piroski has played 9 games and tallied 7 wins with the Leamington Flyers of the GOJHL this season, with a GAA of 2.34, and a SV% of 0.936.
Piroski was Selected in the 1st round (20th overall) by the Niagara IceDogs in the 2021 OHL U18 Draft.
“This is an exciting addition to the IceDogs family. Boe is a guy who has impressed us for years and has really elevated his game this season in Leamington. Boe impressed us at camp and is the perfect addition to add to our goaltending depth. I am thrilled to be able to make it official and welcome Boe to Niagara!”
Said Burke.
Piroski shared his excitement,
“I’m very excited and honoured to make my way to Niagara. It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the OHL”.
