Niagara IceDogs sign William Stewart

ST. CATHARINES, ON – The Niagara IceDogs are proud to announce the signing of  William Stewart.

The 2005-born forward stands at 6’04 and weighs in at 181 lbs. Stewart was selected by Flint in the 2021 OHL Entry Draft and was acquired by Niagara through a trade in September 2022. The Pittsburgh, PA native spent last season with the Pelham Panthers of the GOJHL and 5 goals and 11 assists as a rookie for the club. This season with the Brantford 99ers of the OJHL, William has 5 goals and 14 assists for a total of 19 points in 42 games for the team. With the IceDogs, William has dressed as an AP in 5 games so far this season.
