Oliver Castleman Signs with IceDogs

The Niagara IceDogs are excited to confirm the signing of Oliver Castleman after it was first announced last night.
Director of Player Personnel Joey Burke was very excited to have Castleman sign.

“Oliver is an all round impressive player that seems to do everything right. He has great hockey sense and vision on the ice that allows him to find teammates anywhere. His ability off the puck is just as impressive. He seems to always know where the puck is going and is constantly breaking up plays and creating turnovers. We are very excited to have Oliver on board and look to him to be a big piece for us moving forward.”

Castleman spent last season with the Casselman Vikings of the CCHL2, where he dominated with 19 goals and 56 points through just 37 games. He finished his season by winning both the Rookie of the Year award as well as the Prospect of the Year award, before being drafted in the 4th round,78th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection draft by the Niagara IceDogs.

The entire Niagara IceDogs organization would like to welcome Oliver to the team.
