Petes Top IceDogs

The Niagara IceDogs four-game winning streak came to a close Saturday night in Peterborough with a 5-1 loss to the Petes.

The IceDogs got on the board first when Josh Ho-Sang was able to gain the Petes zone and slide a pass over to Graham Knott. He was able to beat Matthew Mancina for his seventh goal of the season to give the IceDogs a 1-0 lead.

The Petes answered back in the second period with goals from Nick Ritchie and Hunter Garlent to take a 2-1 lead into the final frame.

Garlent and Ritchie each added another goal in the third and Eric Cornel also beat Brent Moran to give the Petes a 5-1 victory.

Moran made 34 saves in the loss.

The IceDogs are back at it next weekend with games in Saginaw and Plymouth.
