Ontario Hockey League

1ST STAR: JACOB TORTORA (BARRIE COLTS):
The first hat-trick of Jacob Tortora‘s OHL career came just four games in as the 19-year-old led the charge in a 4-2 Barrie Colts win over the visiting Mississauga Steelheads. Tortora scored three times on seven shots, firing a pair of clean wristers past Jacob Ingham in the second period before completing the trio with 7:53 left in the third. The 5-foot-8, 161Ib. forward from Victor, NY now has eight points (6-2–8) through four games. Originally Barrie’s first round (19th overall) pick in 2015, the Colts reacquired Tortora from the Kitchener Rangers earlier this month after he started the season playing at Boston College.
