TRADE: IceDogs Acquire 2005 Prospect, William Stewart from Flint

Niagara, ON – This morning the Niagara IceDogs announced a trade they completed with the Flint Firebirds. Forward, William Stewart has joined the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a 12th Round Pick in 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, the 2005-born forward stands at 6’04 and weighs in at 181 lbs. William Stewart was selected by Flint in the 2021 OHL Entry Draft in the 15th Round. Stewart spent last season with the Pelham Panthers of the GOJHL as a rookie notching 5 G, 11 A, and 16 PTS in 47 games. He began this season with the Brantford 99ers of the OJHL and picked up a goal in his first 2 games with the team.
