TRADE: IceDogs Acquire Daniel Michaud From Oshawa Generals

Niagara, ON | This morning the Niagara IceDogs announced a trade they completed with the Oshawa Generals.

Niagara acquires:

Daniel Michaud

Oshawa acquires:

Soo 3rd in 2025

Niagara 6th in 2023

The 2003-born Forward stands at 6’3 and weighs in at 185 lbs. Michaud was drafted in the 2nd round (#23) by Oshawa in 2019. So far this season, Michaud has played 27 games, tallying 4 goals and 7 assists.

“We are ecstatic at the chance to bring in Daniel today, he is the guy we targeted and are thrilled to make it a reality”

Said GM, Joey Burke.

“We knew we wanted to add an 03 forward who needed a bit of change of scenery, and it’s exactly what we have in Daniel. He’s a natural Center who our entire staff loved in his draft year. He’s a high pick taken at the top of the 2nd round that fits our age and make up perfectly. We couldn’t be more excited to bring him in we can’t wait for a great second half and playoff push ahead!”
