The Niagara Ice Girls Cheerleaders

The Niagara Ice Girls!

The “Cappa” Niagara Ice Girls are the cheer-dance and promotional team of the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs. The team is comprised of 10 to 12 females with exceptional dance and cheer skills, as well as a willingness to be involved in the community. All members of the team are between 17 and 25 years of age and attend school or work full time.

The “Cappa” Niagara Ice Girls perform at all regular season Niagara IceDogs games, as well as playoff games. Outside of the arena, the girls make nearly 50 appearances a year at various community and charity events. The girls have attended events hosted by the Diabetes Society, the Special Olympics, the Rankin Cancer Run, the Relay for Life and more. The girls also attend the region’s most prominent festivals and parades as representatives of the Niagara IceDogs.
