A Niagara IceDogs comeback attempt fell just short as the Erie Otters held on for a 4-3 win on home ice. Down 4-0, Niagara scored three times in the last six minutes of the third period, but goals from Akil Thomas (4), Matthew Philip (4) and Kirill Maksimov (10) weren’t enough to overcome the deficit. Niagara netminder Colton Incze made 33 saves in the loss.
