Announcement: Dent named Associate Coach

The Niagara IceDogs are thrilled to announce that Ted Dent has been named as Associate Coach!

Dent was previously the head coach of the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs for the past 6 season, the top affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Prior to being named the Head Coach, Ted served as Assistant Coach for the Blackhawks AHL affiliate for 5 seasons.

Over his 11 years with the Blackhawks organization, Ted played a huge role in the development of many players who have moved on to win multiple Stanley Cups with Chicago. To maintain such an important position with a prestigious organization, like the Chicago Blackhawks, for so long not only speaks to Ted’s outstanding ability as a coach but his character as well.

The entire IceDogs organization is thrilled to have Ted on the coaching staff as we continue to build towards an OHL championship.
