ANNOUNCEMENT | IceDogs hire Brent Tomlinson as Northern Ontario scout

Niagara IceDogs’ General Manager Joey Burke announced today that Brent Tomlinson has been hired as the team’s newest scout.

Brent will be primarily responsible for scouting Northern Ontario.

A native of Bracebridge, Brent has garnered an excellent reputation for his knowledge, coaching, and scouting prowess. Brent has been working as Head Coach and General Manager of the Jr. C. Huntsville Otters. Previously, he was the Assistant Coach of the Jr. A Powassan Voodoos. 

“Brent is a guy who is very well versed and respected in the Northern region, he brings with him an impressive resume and a large knowledge base on Northern draft eligible players, and I could not be more excited to be adding him to our staff to continue our strong tradition of drafting quality players from the North.” said Burke.

Brent is well known for his expertise and work ethic and will bring a firm understanding of the upcoming draft eligible players for this year’s draft.

The IceDogs are very excited to add Brent to our organization.
